Impactos psicológicos do uso de deadbots:
Uma revisão de escopo

O uso de chatbots baseados em inteligência artificial para simular pessoas falecidas, chamados deadbots, griefbots ou thanabots, tem se expandido rapidamente, gerando debates psicológicos, éticos e clínicos sobre seus efeitos no luto. Este estudo analisou evidências sobre impactos psicológicos dessas tecnologias em indivíduos enlutados, considerando diferenças etárias e fatores contextuais e moderadores. Realizou-se revisão de escopo nas bases PubMed e SciELO, incluindo estudos de 2016 a 2026; 22 compuseram a amostra final. Os resultados indicam campo ainda em consolidação, com heterogeneidade metodológica e escassez de pesquisas diretas com usuários enlutados. Os achados apontam efeitos ambivalentes: conforto emocional, sensação de conexão contínua e apoio à regulação emocional, mas também riscos de dependência emocional, evitação experiencial, confusão entre realidade e simulação e possível prolongamento do luto. Variáveis como estilo de apego, qualidade do vínculo com o falecido, contexto cultural e espiritual, tempo de uso e presença de suporte humano mostraram maior poder preditivo que a idade isolada. Observou-se ausência de estudos brasileiros, indicando lacuna relevante. Conclui-se que os impactos dependem de condições individuais e contextuais, exigindo uso cauteloso, avaliação clínica criteriosa e maior produção de evidências empíricas em diferentes contextos socioculturais.
